Lodam Electronics A/S seeks an embedded hardware developer for our R&D department for transport refrigeration. Lodam is part of the BITZER Group, a worldwide leading manufacturer of refrigerant compressors. Lodam has experienced a considerable growth in recent years. And we are constantly improving our existing product portfolio and developing new products.  

The job objective
Our products experience a rough life either on the road or on vessels at sea and we know that already from the design of the products. As a hardware developer you are following the product from the idea through the processes: design, test, qualification and manufacturing, but it does not stop here. You will still be involved when the customer needs changes to the products or when the field returns have to be investigated in cooperation with our quality department.  And all the learnings will be put into development of the future products. Environmental test plays a major role in the job, as the environment on the road or at sea can have a great impact on the functionality of electronics thus environmental testing is included also at an early stage in the development process.     

Your primary job responsibilities are: 
-    Be hardware responsible for a number of products 
-    Hardware construction, including specification, design, layout and test
-    Handle design change requests from the customers
-    Handle component EOL, find drop in replacements or redesign hardware 
-    Technical support for the quality department 

Your qualifications: 
-    Master or bachelor in Electronic Engineering 
-    Be familiar with OrCAD Capture or equivalent schematic design software 
-    You are a fast thinker, combined with strong analytical and solution oriented skills
-    You work in a structured way, and can plan you daily work 
-    You are a detail oriented person, who enjoy holding in a task until it is solved 
-    You are self-driven and enjoy working in a team where your results are very important 
-    Our corporate language is English, so your English skills must be at a functional level
